One Round – Countermine System (CMS)
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is supporting Boeing in the development of the Countermine System (CMS), a critical air launched munition component of the Navy's assault breaching system (ABS). The CMS attacks surface laid and buried mines along the beachhead and in the surf through a controlled dispense of countermine neutralizers. The system is designed to neutralize mines in order to provide safe landing for the Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF). CMS achieves target defeat without leaving unexploded ordnance on the battlefield.
Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) Rod Payloads
Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System defeats area targets without submunitions. Small-to-large target areas are defeated by control of the release point and spin rate in order to provide the desired lethal pattern on the ground. GMLRS provides the right solution for area targets with limited collateral damage and no UXO.
