General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems produces lightweight composite structural components and integrated assemblies for a wide variety of aircraft applications. Primary manufacturing technologies include, hand lay-up, resin transfer molding (RTM), stitched resin infusion (SRI), vacuum assisted resin transfer molding (VARTM), controlled atmospheric pressure resin infusion (CAPRI), automated oven and autoclave curing, assembly and integration, test and analysis, and repair. Secondary processes include trim and drill, CNC machining, component/final assembly and finish. Our facilities and equipment allow us to manage large, complex, high-rate programs for a variety of applications:
